The Yash Birla Group (YBG) announced its IT foray last week with the acquisition of Melstar.

In an exclusive email interaction with CXOtoday, a group spokesperson said they would be concentrating on ERP, enterprise content management (ECM), telecom, LPO, IT solutions for the power sector, etc., besides leveraging Melstar's expertise in the BFSI sector.

The ERP solution of Microsoft has a tag Techtura. This software is not merely devoted to the Enterprise Resource Planning.
